Handmade by Gabrijela is a small company established in early 2021, by self-thought enthusiast Gabrijela Parigros. Gabrijela is a graduated artist, originally a painter, who transformed her original affection for colours, shapes and history of art into craftmanship. She likes dressing people in her imagination, and Black Sheep Creations are here to make your personality even more unique or gift someone you care for with something inimitable.
"I started making knitwear and crocheting after long years of struggle with landlords, during my stay abroad, to preserve their properties from accidental damage of paint during my creative process. I still needed to express myself through colours, but had to find a way that is "clean", that is calming (we live in disturbing times don't we?), and to remain creative and productive. I revoked my inner child, remembering that, when I was just a little girl, I spent days in solitude, fully focused on creating clothes for my Barbie dolls, rather than just asking my parents to buy them from the shop. Somehow, playing with dolls was not entirely my thing, but creating things for them was fully satisfying. Now, when I am slightly older than that, I am again finding the joy of making beautiful unique pieces of wardrobe for all generations, genders and characters. My style is always bubbly, and unpredictable (I do not follow patterns, I create from my mind), and I hope it will bring equal joy to you while wearing it, as it brings for me while it grows under my fingers."
